MSN Block Checker is a web based tool. You can use it to see your friend is Online or Offline on MSN Messenger. You can use it to detect if someone has blocked you. If your MSN Messenger is not signing in, you can use this tool to check whether your friend is online or not.
There are several techniques you can deploy to find out if you're being blocked or not. Some require MacGuyver techniques, others are simple as a mouse click:
MSN Block Checker
This script checks if a specific MSN Messenger user is online or offline. It does not return all the users blocking the entered account. One of its strengths (in comparison to any other block checker) is that, it can bypass MSN Messenger's Privacy setting to block 'all other users'.
>> Use MSN Block Checker.
Alien Passport Technique
No shocker, this do-it-yourself one, as most of you will already have thought about this before, but here we go:
1) Create a new Hotmail Passport with a user name that has no relation to you whatsoever (tip: use a foreign name from the other gender).
2) Download a polygamy patch for your version of MSN Messenger.
3) Start a second MSN Messenger client after applying the patch and log-in using your fresh and clean MSN Passport.
4) Choose "Send an instant message" from the Actions (or Extra) menu and instead of selecting somebody from your Contact List (which should be blank with your new account), fill in the email address of the person you suspect of blocking you.
5) Send him a message like: "Hi, are you the person who mailed me earlier about my site?" or something completely else (whatever might get him/her to react).
6) If this person replies while being offline on your other account... somebody doesn't really like you ;)
NOTE: This technique fails when the suspected blocker has chosen the default privacy setting to "Block All Others" (= users not added to the contact list).
The IP-Scan Method
1) Find the IP of the suspected blocker
2) Scan the IP for the MSN PORT (1963)
3) If there's none, the person is disconnected from the Internet.
Conclusion: Using Msn Block Checker, the easiest and most reliable way.
MSN Messenger Names Guide
This is a quick guide to MSN names. MSN Messenger allows you to have any text as your Display Name, this is the name that people on your contact list see you as.
Setting your Display name or screen name is quite simple. From either the main MSN window or any chat window's menu click on Tools -> Options. This will bring up the MSN Options Dialog. The first option visible is your MSN name, so write your screen name in the text box like this:

Now just press OK and your nickname will be saved! This will remain as your nickname until you change it again, everytime you sign in to MSN Messenger it will remain the same.
Don't use very long nicknames, these are usually truncated in your friend's contact list, they can be rather annoying to other people and make chat conversations harder to read if your nickname takes up several lines.
That concludes this quick reference to MSN names. Be sure to visit our main MSN Screen Names section for lots of cool nicknames and special screen name effects!
